POET Technologies Files Form 20-F with U.S. SEC

Toronto, ON, and Storrs, CT, January 28, 2014 – POET Technologies Inc. (TSX-V: PTK, OTC: POETF) (“the Company”) – developer of the proprietary planar-optoelectronic technology (“POET”) platform for monolithic fabrication of integrated electronic and optical devices on a single semiconductor wafer – announces that on January 24, 2014 after the close of market, it submitted for filing a registration statement on Form 20-F in connection with the registration of its Common Stock under the U.S. Securities Exchange Act of 1934. The filing is subject to review by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
